2. You must absolutely depend on Him. (Psalm 89:16a)

3. Consistently make demands on the mercies of God. (Psalm 89:16b.)

PROPHETIC DIRECTIONS FOR 2023:

1. Gratitude will be a major leverage for the sensitive.

(Jeremiah 30:19.)

2. Get into the supernatural. (Psalm 20:7-8, 2 chronicles 32:7-8)

Horses and chariots shall fail.

3. Set personal boundaries (discipline). (1 Corinthians 9:25-27)

••There will be winds of distractions [offenses, immorality, negative events on social networks, ungodly and purposeless relationships]

4. God will pay attention to those who pay serious attention to their assignments [it’s reward time] (Genesis 26:12.)

Be A Standard Bearer

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves,… 2 Tim 3:1-2a.

As we gallop towards the end of time, a major prophetic signal is the rise of the spirit of selfishness. Men are now driven by what suits only them or what they want. This has led to the trampling of other people’s emotions, rights and privileges and has given rise to a lot of hurting people all around us. A hurting people sees the world in the light of their experiences. A hurting person can never be a good helper. A bleeding person can rarely be a healing balm to another. A hurting person is a potential tool of hurt for the devil. (A case study of the Nigerian political and ecclesiastical society)

As the society degenerate further into egocentrism, let the narrative change with you. Be a STANDARD BEARER.

Sarah was finding it difficult to conceive, Abraham never took it out on her or made her feel less of a woman, he was a STANDARD BEARER.

Abimelech and his people maltreated Isaac, but Isaac made them a feast when the table turned and they came visiting, he was a STANDARD BEARER.

Other servants may have slept with Potiphar’s wife but Joseph was a STANDARD BEARER.

Other people may have eaten the king’s meat but Daniel and co were STANDARD BEARERS.

Those with potential for the throne undermine those already on the throne to have quick access but David spared Saul’s life when he had opportunity to kill him, David was a STANDARD BEARER.

The shortchanging of Jacob’s wages by Laban did not affect the commitment, loyalty and dedication to duty of Jacob, he was a STANDARD BEARER.

The evil conspiracy of Joseph’s brethren did not make him vengeful towards them when the table turned, he was a STANDARD BEARER.

The world does not become a better place because people only prayed but because people decide to become STANDARD BEARERS.

COUNSEL:
Don’t treat your subordinates the way your superiors treated you (if it’s bad)

Don’t hurt those you are meant to help, be a STANDARD BEARER.

Don’t make those helping you today refrain from helping others tomorrow because of your attitude of ingratitude, be a STANDARD BEARER.

Forget what they did to you, change the standard when dealing with others. If you repeat a mistake done to you on others then you learnt nothing from it. The reason God allows us go through things is so we can change it for those coming behind us. Let a good standard begin or continue with you.

Always remember, God is a record keeper and a handsome rewarder. He will reward your selfishness towards others and the kingdom.

Happy and fruitful weekend it shall be for you.

Appreciate What Is Around You:

And Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them, and, behold, they were sad. And he asked Pharaoh’s officers that were with him in the ward of his lord’s house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sadly to day? And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell me them, I pray you. Gen 40:6-8.

The Baker and Butler were with Joseph but did not know about Joseph. They gave up on their dreams because they didn’t know that they had been living with a dream interpreter. They resigned to fate because they didn’t see solution in view.

Many times people expect solutions to their challenges to come from afar whereas, it’s just around them. I have seen Pastors praying for God to send financiers to their ministries whereas God is saying, the financiers are these raw men who don’t look like it now- Raise them in prayer, fasting, the right teachings and strategic mentoring.

I have seen young ladies miss out on the husbands that would’ve given them peace and joy on the ground that they didn’t appear like the picture they already had.

I have seen young men miss out on the wife sent by God with uncommon Favour to fast rack their lives but they miss them because they didn’t appear in the package they envisaged.

I have seen churches and organizations misuse those sent to interpret their visions on the ground of whatever sentiments.

I have seen nations suffer terrible brain drain because they abused and misused those who were sent to change things for them.

Who have you taken for granted? It’s possible you are with your Joseph yet, still searching for who will interpret your dreams.
A Nigerian adage says, ‘what you are looking for in Sokoto is already in your sokoto’

As you go out this week, look within and around you, God will speak to you on what to do to change that situation.

I see you testifying this month.
Welcome to April!
Your paths shall fail on pleasant places In Jesus name!

Timothy Speaks: Don’t Join The Hypocrites

Don’t Join The Hypocrites

And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him. And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out? Matt 12:10-11.

It has not ceased to amaze me how So many Christians try to appear holier than thou when the issue of kingdom prosperity is talked about. Many still do seem to know the difference between claiming our Father’s properties from illegal possessors and the pursuit of materialism.
I have seen very serious Christians quarrel, fight and even go to court when someone trespasses on their land or other natural inheritance just to claim it back but will wear the garment of pseudo spirituality when it comes to repossessing kingdom wealth from those abusing its purpose all over the place.

The Pharisees won’t mind saving a donkey on a sabbath but a man created in the image and likeness of God can keep suffering in pain because it’s the sabbath. What a hypocrisy?

If you could fight for earthly inheritance, why would you careless about what cost Jesus His blood? The same blood that paid for salvation also paid for wealth(Rev 5:12, 2 Cor 8:9). You appear not to be interested in kingdom wealth but agents of wickedness are destroying Divine creations through terrorism, immorality, negative media projections into the minds of our young people and all what have you-God will ask you!

The multiplication of wickedness in our world today is because the majority of those in possession of resources are Godless.

Many Christians completely forget that wealth is a neutral force that assumes and gives maximum expression to the nature and character of its possessor.

Hypocrisy is when you pray and fast for God to bless you but get angry at the blessings of others.

Hypocrisy is when you appear very sanctimonious before men but filled with envy, jealousy, unforgiveness, anger and bitterness against others.

Hypocrisy is when you use your area of strength to judge someone’s area of weakness.

Hypocrisy is when you have excuses for your mistakes but quick to remind others of the judgement that awaits their mistakes.

Hypocrisy is when you secretly desire a good car, house and other necessities of life but publicly view or tag those who use them as sinners or unserious Christians-well done.

Please know that your scriptural perception, denominational doctrine or dogma and your choice of life can never be God’s standard for judgments and heavenly allocation.

My simple answer to such people is, when you get to heaven as a poor person, please stand at the gate to stop others from entering because they were rich and enjoyed life here.

Counsel:
Be real with God. Love the brethren. Enjoy all that Calvary secured for you. Refuse a lifestyle of compromise. Ask for continuous enlightenment. Never apologise for desiring or pursuing kingdom wealth. Never join the company of those who judge, resent, conclude and condemn what they don’t understand simply because it does not suit them. DO NOT BE A HYPOCRITE!

May people praise God on your account this month!

Timothy Speaks: Just Beware What You Copy

But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the Lord: And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace. Gen 19:26-28.

The same Sodom that Lot and his family were commanded not to look at was the same Sodom Abraham was looking at. Lot’s wife became a pillar of salt when she attempted to look back, but Abraham looked without any consequence.

I have discovered that in life, nothing is as it appears physically. No two genuine ministries are the same. No two marriages are the same. No two destinies are the same. No two businesses are the same. There’s always a distinguishing factor that is not always visible to the natural eyes.

LESSONS:
1. Be inspired by what others do, but beware what you copy from them. Never forget what you saw and heard because of what others are doing.

2. Never compare your results with that of another. You can never know what others are doing privately that you can never do.

3. In the journey of life, compete with yourself not with others.

4. No man’s experience, results or outcome equals the perfect will of God. Everyone has his own lane or destination.

5. Don’t kill yourself trying to do what others are doing because you don’t know what they are standing on or beside. Abraham was standing at the place of an altar where he talked with God while Lot and family were running on their own.

6. God has no consensus way of dealing with everyone. He deals with us according to our personalities.

7. Never build a doctrine or a template out of what works for you in a certain situation in relation with others or in handling future challenges, God is too dynamic to be straight jacketed.

8. Adhere to the instructions given to you rather than the manifestation you see in another. The instruction given to Lot and family was not given to Abraham therefore, effect could not be the same.

It’s a new season for you.
You will laugh loud and long soon!

Timothy Speaks: Why The Concourse?

For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, which made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small gain unto the craftsmen; Whom he called together with the workmen of like occupation, and said, Sirs, ye know that by this craft we have our wealth.

Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands: So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth.

And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians. And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul’s companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theatre… Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused; and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together…

Wherefore if Demetrius, and the craftsmen which are with him, have a matter against any man, the law is open, and there are deputies: let them implead one another. But if ye enquire any thing concerning other matters, it shall be determined in a lawful assembly. For we are in danger to be called in question for this day’s uproar, there being no cause whereby we may give an account of this concourse. And when he had thus spoken, he dismissed the assembly. Acts 19:24-29,32,38-41.

Experience has taught me never to be quick in meddling with matters for which details I am not yet privy to. If you are a Bible student, you will realize that nothing is actually new under the sun. Things may be repackaged and represented but there has been a precedence.

Man was designed to always seek for survival at every given time. This survival instinct can make a person kill his or her conscience, go to any length to latch on to influence or bounce back. When people seem to be losing relevance, attention or influence, they look for lifelines to latch unto to bounce back and it doesn’t matter at whose expense or at what cost.

Demetrius saw the growth of Christianity and its rising influence as a major threat over the territories where his business thrives and survives on; knowing that to get people to react or respond, you have to hide your actual motive, stir their emotions and tie their actions to what they hold sacred, and boom, you get them to react or respond without thinking. It worked for Demetrius. While many were fighting for the preservation of Diana’s images and Temple, Demetrius was fighting to preserve his business and influence, while others didn’t even know what they were fighting for or against.

Politicians know that religion and ethnicity are major snowballs in Nigeria, so they stir it anytime their grip to power or pursuit of a certain personal agenda is being threatened by other powers. Their ethnic or religious constituency will never ask what he did or how he did it, neither will they ask for investigation, they will only scream oppression etc. This has kept the country docile, immobile and moribund.

While controversy remains a liability to the church, it remains an asset to an entertainer. The religious spirit in Nigeria has today made the church a leverage to anyone seeking cheap or undue publicity, attention or relevance.

If you have never been accused before, you won’t know how it feels.

If you have never been blackmailed before, you won’t know how it feels.

If you have never been framed before, you won’t know how it feels.

If you have never been raped before, you won’t also know how it feels.

If you have never been suppressed before, you won’t know how it feels.

What happened to the law courts?

What happened to the voice of reasoning?

What happened to the voice of conscience?

While we raise dust over the burning issues because those involved are celebrities, we tend to forget that this is an evil that lives amongst us. What happens to the little girl or boy who may not have the clout to fight for themselves when violated by others. I had expected people to fight for institutional frameworks that would investigate and recommend due punishments for certain absurdities rather than play to the gallery over mere allegations.

Just before you join the concourse, think! Think!! Think!!!
I say no to rape!
I say no to media trial!
I say no to thoughtless actions!
I say no to envy!

Have a blessed day. Your weekly tonic will come tomorrow by God’s grace.

Timothy Speak: Work it

Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause:
yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the PROSPERITY of his SERVANTS. Psalm 35:27.

Listen!
Any scripture that has not worked for you, is a scripture you have not worked on.

Those who labour well in the WORD don’t labour long in the WORLD.

The scripture does not work for you because someone says so, it works for you when you grant it access. Until the word entered Jacob, he couldn’t function as Israel (The Lord sent a word into Jacob,
and it hath lighted upon Israel Psalm 9:8).

You may doubt what you know or what you are told but don’t doubt what you have seen.

I am completely non apologetic about my conviction on the #POSSIBILITYOFDEEPSPIRITUALYANDMASSIVEPROSPERITY.

I curse every devil trying to lie through your life against what God has said!

You will be another reality of this combinable possibility!

Timothy Speak: Save that Peter

Just a word for a particular person. This is not what I wanted to write about today but God redirected my thoughts.

And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. Matthew 14:26-32.

Hmmm!
Imagine Peter, just because he had the rare privilege of associating with Jesus, had Jesus sent him to go and catch fish to pay their taxes, added with other little assignments Jesus gave him here and there suddenly grew wings and became so ambitious that he wanted to walk on water too, as what now? Peter that has not fasted for forty days and nights. Peter that couldn’t pray all night. Peter that did not know how to discern satan. What effrontery? What audacity? Then the storm came, and Peter couldn’t withstand the storm, he began to sink. Hmmm! That’s a lesson to him and the other boat-sitting disciples to know that walking on water is not for everyone but for an exclusively chosen few. Before anyone can dare the water next time, they should go and ask questions!

The above is the normal thought pattern of an average leader when a protege tries doing what the leader is known for and gets stuck midway. But what did Jesus do?

1. He stretched out His hand to save Peter.
In other words, Peter’s life was more important than his ‘mistake’.
For someone reading this, why would you watch and allow your Peter sink just because you think he didn’t follow your counsel or he’s being unnecessarily ambitious? Please go get him back if he is still redeemable.

2. Jesus criticized Peter’s process not his person or action.
Talking down on someone that’s already feeling bad about his mistake is an attack on the person’s esteem which will becomes counterproductive to the person’s intuitive and proactive capacity. Correct processes but rebuild personalities.

3. Jesus took Peter right back into the boat-a place of safety.
Anyone who has attempted anything of value especially if the steps are contrary to normal procedures and failed is usually vulnerable. Bring your son/daughter, protege or subordinate to a place of safety before releasing the needed discipline

The protege, subordinate or friend you saved today may just be the one you will need somehow tomorrow. If you are somewhat happy that a subordinate failed while attempting to be like you, you have an esteem problem.

Life do turns. Fortune do turns. People do grow. Processes are teachable and learnable. Change still remains a constant!

By the way, don’t forget, #DEEPSPIRITUALITYANDMASSIVEPROSPERITYISAPOSSIBILITY

Timothy Speaks: Lord have Mercy!

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrew 12:2.

As a young Minister with a lot of zeal, passion and fire for God, coupled with my Deeper life background, I walked with a sense of ‘God’s deputy’, quick to discipline church members when they err as well as quick to tag a fallen soldier as not being really serious or deeply rooted enough to have overcome temptations as they come. I will met out disciplinary actions to others as a way to prove to people that I am a no nonsense Pastor. Oh yes, I wanted the people to know, you cannot do anything around me and get away with it. The mode of discipline was actually more to protect my image and that of the Church rather than to get the erring person get fully restored to faith and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. I had maintained such stance until while trying to help someone, I had a narrow escape experience which I will talk about some day. It’s easy as a pastor to play to the gallery just to maintain the status quo while the fallen is crushed beyond redemption.

On a certain day, I had a personal encounter with the Holy Spirit while meditating, He said to me, ‘you are not my standard for holiness, and no man is. You discipline someone to protect your image before people and receive accolades while the fallen remains unrecovered. They go through the stipulated discipline as a religious requirement rather than a healing and recovery process. Do your best to get someone restored while keeping a safe distance from the sin’

Jesus was more interested in saving the soul of the woman caught in adultery than He was about the opinion of the people. He was more interested in saving the household of Zacheaus than He was about the past of Zacheaus or His own image.
After that encounter, I changed my approach in dealing with people who made genuine mistakes.

Sometimes, seeing the way some people judge those with weaknesses in the area of their strength is humbling. We seem to quickly forget that no sin is superior to the other before God. You might not be a fornicator, an adulterer, a thief or a killer, but you are also not different if you’re laden with bitterness, unforgiveness, envy, malice, jealousy, backbiting or slandering. I just imagine God replaying the video of everyone’s past before everyone. I sometimes also imagine God playing the video of some people’s current private life for everyone to see. Imagine how humble all of us would be.

Note!
Many people are hurting and seating on their hurts in our churches, from the pulpit to the pew because of several acts of betrayal of trust.

No man should be your holiness goal rather than Jesus. This helps your heart when you see traits that are unbecoming of a brother/sister or mentor.

When something happens around you, use it as an opportunity to reassess your own life and make amends where necessary rather than throw stones.

Pray passionately for the person(s) at the centre of the storm from your heart for God’s visitation and restoration.

Reach out to them where you can.

While I sincerely pray that church leaders would rally round Pst Biodun and the COZA family at this time, because this is actually the time to prove fatherhood, I also expect them to reach out to the Dakolos for genuine Counseling and restoration, because the souls of the Dakolos are equally as important as that of Pst Biodun and his ministry.

In summary, let he that standeth take heed, lest he falls.

Timothy Speaks: Can I Tell You Something?

Can-I-tell-you-something

Okay just listen!
My wife and I were on a trip to Dubai last year onboard an Ethiopian airline, when we got to Addis Ababa, we were all separated according to our respective destinations. That incident further taught me that, in the journey of destiny, that you are on the same route with people does not mean you have same destination with them, be sensitive to know when you have arrived your junction and make the required turn. Your current transit point maybe someone’s ultimate destination.

Everyone who makes a recognizable mark in any field is highly insensitive to sentiments. It’s not possible to change levels and sustain a continuous change of levels without losing some friends and associates and gaining new friends and associates, to be sentimentally attached is to mortgage destiny and be buried in mediocrity and average existence.

Don’t let those doing town service distract you from keeping abreast of the fact that your journey is inter-state or international.

A scaffold maybe very important during construction, but may not be necessary after finishing.

The summary is, be open and sensitive to God and the changes happening around and within you.

You won’t fail!

May God send your way the right people you need at this phase of your life in Jesus Name!

This week shall not leave you empty-handed in Jesus Name!
