And Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them, and, behold, they were sad. And he asked Pharaoh’s officers that were with him in the ward of his lord’s house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sadly to day? And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell me them, I pray you. Gen 40:6-8.
The Baker and Butler were with Joseph but did not know about Joseph. They gave up on their dreams because they didn’t know that they had been living with a dream interpreter. They resigned to fate because they didn’t see solution in view.
Many times people expect solutions to their challenges to come from afar whereas, it’s just around them. I have seen Pastors praying for God to send financiers to their ministries whereas God is saying, the financiers are these raw men who don’t look like it now- Raise them in prayer, fasting, the right teachings and strategic mentoring.
I have seen young ladies miss out on the husbands that would’ve given them peace and joy on the ground that they didn’t appear like the picture they already had.
I have seen young men miss out on the wife sent by God with uncommon Favour to fast rack their lives but they miss them because they didn’t appear in the package they envisaged.
I have seen churches and organizations misuse those sent to interpret their visions on the ground of whatever sentiments.
I have seen nations suffer terrible brain drain because they abused and misused those who were sent to change things for them.
Who have you taken for granted? It’s possible you are with your Joseph yet, still searching for who will interpret your dreams.
A Nigerian adage says, ‘what you are looking for in Sokoto is already in your sokoto’
As you go out this week, look within and around you, God will speak to you on what to do to change that situation.
I see you testifying this month.
Welcome to April!
Your paths shall fail on pleasant places In Jesus name!
